Vision LinkedIn Job Scraper Privacy Policy
Vision LinkedIn Job Scraper captures the LinkedIn page currently open in the active browser tab when the recruiter explicitly clicks capture.
What the extension accesses
- LinkedIn job pages and LinkedIn job search result pages open by the recruiter.
- Recruiter sign-in credentials only at the moment the recruiter submits them to Vision authentication.
- Vision session tokens stored locally in the browser so the recruiter can stay signed in.
- CSV files generated locally when the recruiter chooses copy or download actions.
What the extension sends to Vision
- Structured job capture data such as title, company, location, description, source URL, and capture diagnostics.
- The authenticated recruiter session token needed to import the capture into the recruiter workspace.
What the extension does not do
- It does not scrape LinkedIn in the background without recruiter action.
- It does not send page contents anywhere until the recruiter clicks Send to Vision.
- It does not sell captured data to third parties.
How data is stored
- Recruiter session tokens are stored in Chrome local extension storage.
- Captured CSV content is generated locally in the browser and downloaded only when the recruiter requests it.
- Imported captures are stored inside the Vision recruiter workspace after the recruiter sends them to Vision.
How to remove data
- Use Sign out in the extension to clear the saved Vision session.
- Remove the extension from Chrome to clear extension-local data.
- Delete imported records inside Vision for workspace-side cleanup.
